SITE Southern Supper Throw Back - 2015 | Event, Meetings & Incentives Photographer in the Atlanta & Reno/Tahoe Area
In honor of being able to attend SITE Southeast’s Southern Supper this year, I thought I would do a throwback of my FIRST Southern Supper in 2015 and how I became involved with this wonderful group of people.
Well, it all started with an awesome 7 years at USMotivation in Atlanta, Georgia. USM was a full-service rewards, recognition and incentive company with a focus on Incentive Awards and Travel Meetings . As a Senior Account Manager in the Awards Department (think: using your sky mile points for fun stuff…I managed those programs), I learned so much about project planning, software testing, email blasts, customer service and other skills that have helped me have a successful photography business! But most of all, I met some of my best friends and contacts in the industry that supported me in my event photography journey (you know who you are)!
One of them being Dale Edmunds XO. At the suggestion of my friend Jen Lanier, I asked Dale if any of the SITE Southeast events needed a photographer. Dale was on the planning committee for SITE Southern Supper in 2015 and he got me setup to be the the event photographer. I only knew a couple people at the event, but now 4 years later I know about 90% of the attendees in these photos! Look at all those baby faces! And literally Doc’s baby…..
